EMR/MMR Interior

The philosophy behind our interior, is that you get a much more stable load when you are able to pack it as tightly as possible, and "integrate" the elements. No air pockets means no-slop. That's why our interior is a single, tall tube. Carrying less than a full load? Just compress the whole pack (click here for details).
We don't adorn the inside with a bunch of pockets and compartments. We do, however, provide two utilitarian flat sleeves:

  1. The Hydration sleeve stores up to a 100 oz. water reservoir such as a Platypus or Camelbak, or you can use it as a radio pocket (zippered antenna port is provided).

  2. Flotation/CargoChair Sleeve. The second sleeve (inside the "front" of the pack) is large enough to store your  CargoChair.  This sleeve is also large enough to house the flotation device of  your choice to float or suspend your pack during water crossings (you supply the flotation foam).

The Sleeping Bag Compartment: this "compartment" is entirely optional. The EMR/MMR is equipped with a panel to separate your bag from the rest of the pack - if you prefer the single tube philosophy, you can simply detach this panel.
EMR: ample enough to swallow an entire GI Cold Weather Sleeping System with ease, and still have plenty of volume left over other critical gear - the only ruck capable of doing so!
MMR: can handle a GI Single Sleeping System.
