Expedition Kit

The Expedition Kit is a one-and-done setup created with the backcountry hunter in mind.

The kit comes as a full collection of our most popular gear selections for an expedition trip, whether that’s guiding all season in the NWT or packing in 10 days for a sheep hunt above timberline.

Starting from the bones of the setup, the Expedition Kit includes our Lite frame; the Dall pack; X-Pac Organizer Guide Lid; Medium and Large Belt Pouches for the back of the pack; a Water Bottle Pocket on one waist belt side, plus a Small X-pac Belt Pouch for the opposing Waist Belt side; and a Set of Five Ultralight Pullouts for internal organization.

The Lite frame is the skeletonized version of our Duplex frame, providing a lighter weight and more breathable load-hauling system to save some weight in the backcountry. Attached to the frame is our external frame bag, the Dall, coming in at 7080 cubic inches. The Dall can be compressed to day-mode when empty and the detachable Organizer Guide Lid can be fashioned as a final approach pack when or if you need to leave your main pack behind for a stalk. When added together with the other Expedition Kit accessories, the kit rounds out to an approximate 8,525 cubic inches.

The X-Pac material, DWR coated Cordura, and Aquaguard YKK zippers make this setup very water resistant. The Expedition kit has been assembled by outdoor professionals who created, tested, used, and abused each component of this system, making it our pro-pick for expedition hunters who require durable gear for extended trips and need a kit that covers all bases.
