The Reckoning features some of the best designs from the Timberline, EMRII, and Argali. Changes and improvements were made and incorporated into this pack after rigorous field tests in the hunting and tactical realms. Multiple compression straps along the side and front of the pack work independently, allowing access to the center zip of the main bag without losing compression on the sides of the bag. This feature also allows the addition of a belt pouch to carry a rifle, bow, or spotting scope on the front of the pack. Two bellowed side pockets add to the volume and easily carry spotting scopes and tripods. A built-in meat shelf and water bladder sleeve inside the pack further enhance the Reckoning’s versatility. The Reckoning has a built-in roll-top lid with tab loops for the addition of a belt pouch to save ounces should you want to run “light” in the field. A Guide lid (sold separately) is needed to fully extend the main bag for maximum volume.

Awesome bag that is large enough for all your gear and or meat, but also cinch down to a day pack.

I’ve used this bag 1 full season eastern whitetail and 1 truck camping trip out west. I’ve found this bag very versatile, meeting both the needs of my western hunts, and eastern whitetail hunts far from the road. The bag packs down quite well for day hunts far from the truck. For saddle hunting, I’ve paired it with the guide lid, I let the bag at the base of the tree and take the guide lid up the tree with all the things I need. There are definitely better options for a stand alone whitetail pack, but for the person hunting Eastern whitetails that plans to hunt out west, this is a great do it all pack. Can’t wait to try it out on my backpack hunt next year. Picture has full day hunt gear (stove, extra clothes, water), 3 climbing sticks, platform, saddle, and entire quartered out deer.

Hey guys, I’ve been a customer for about 5 years. I’ve picked up several items, all have been the best I’ve used. I’ve drank the Kifaru Kool aid and I’ll stick with you. Also, when asked you all have stepped up to help me with a great discount on merch for our local RMEF dinner, nearly 1000 Miles from you! Thank you! 👍

My favorite piece of gear.
soon as I got the bag I loaded 100 lbs of plates and walked aroundv my neighborhood to test it out. it held. good sign. looking forward to some real off roading.

The Reckoning is my favorite bag from Kifaru. The full zip makes accessing my gear very easy. I have tried several packs and Kifaru makes the best of them all. I hope they bring back wolf grey at some point.
