Nice piece. Really boxy fit through the mid section for a technical athletic piece. Also needs more fabric at the back hem of the piece to stop wind from blowing up your back like every other midlayer on the market has

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this mid layer and the hype is real. Super comfortable good amount of stretch and fits true to size love the hood and the kangaroo pockets and fabric just feels different. Another amazing Kifaru product.

The concept is really solid. The face fabric is high quality and preforms really well. My only gripes with it is the turret style hood is lacking fabric and is tight ok the shoulders and pull at your back when pulled up over your head which then in turns pulls up the back of the garment allowing for things to get really drafty up the back. Most technical mid layers these days have longer length in the back area to compensate for sitting/glassing as well to stop the cold or drafts from hitting you in the back from the garment riding up. Secondly for a high level hardcore backpacking company id expect abit more of an athletic cut but it is very boxy through the body. Overall its a nice piece Just missing a few key things in my viewpoint.
