I used this pack for a hunt in Manitoba for caribou. It was long daily hikes. The pack is tough as nails yet amazingly comfortable. For example, I had to lay in the grass for 30 minutes with the gun on my caribou, waiting for it to stand up. I wasn't until later that I realized I never took the pack off ! It is so comfortable that I didn't feel the need to remove it.
When we shot one, it took all three of us to pack the animal out. My Kifaru went from being a day pack, to being a meat hauler ! We had it stuffed with quarters, I used a couple zip ties to help secure the meat to the pack for a very rough hike out. When we got back to camp, one of the guides suggested I just dump the pack in the lake for a while, and the caribou blood would come out. The suggestion worked great.
This pack is perfect for day hunts, and it is tougher that anything I have ever owned.

I've had this pack with the waist belt for about 9 months now and have taken it with me on several hikes. It carries weight extremely well and even after a full day it never got any hot spots or became uncomfortable. I added some pouches to the belt for some easy access storage and everything has performed great!

I have packed out a 100lb doe plus a climber stand (25lbs) for about one mile. The Shape charge didn’t have any failure points.

Bought for a saddle hunting pack and it is great for that. Plenty of pockets, straps, and expansion options to be used for almost any type of hunting or EDC I do. I'm exacted to take it turkey hunting in just a few weeks.
I also load tested it this weekend with my son and he approved.
