Product details

Smaller brother to the Dall, the Gnargali is meant to cut weight wherever possible. 500d Ranger Green / VX21S Xpac construction puts technical fabrics and abrasion resistance in key places on the bag. At 2.78lbs (1.26kg), this bag keeps things simple and quick. Front .75” straps, front .75” reinforced upper handle and bottom sleeve will keep your weapon or tripod in place and locked in. 3 Belt pouch matrixes (2 front, 1 on the lid) will help with organization and keeping the quick access items at hand. This is a strictly top loading bag, no zipper access to the main compartment. The bottom is double lined and there is a load shelf on the back of the bag. Stretchy side pockets will easily accommodate Nalgenes with nesting cups, cook kits or fly rod tubes. The top three straps are removable / repositionable for adjusting awkward and hard-earned loads on top of your bag. Dual hydro ports and a internal bladder pocket along the back panel will work with any bladder and hose combo including the big bite valves.

    BADASS PACK!

Absolutely STOKED to get this gnargali and frame in. (Don't mind the 22", I'm getting a 26" for this particular pack as well) But damn guys, this thing is incredible. I'm truly lost for words on the quality of your packs. I've been using the urban ruck (original) for over three years now for work, DAILY, and it shows zero wear. So I jumped on this bad boy for the sale. Man I couldn't be happier. (The non-vegan suprise hat had me dieing when i opened the package). Also, the free t-shirt with the frame was a killer suprise as well. I couldn't be happier. Kenneth was awesome to talk to over the phone. Super pleased with everything about you guys. Hopefully I can punch a Utah muley tag this coming year and put it through a true test... Will be using it this PA flintlock season for a small test ride to work out my own bugs. Thanks guys, and keep up the fantastic work. These packs are amazing. I'm in awe with this thing.

    Gnargali is gnarly

For the same reasons I love the Dall and Muskeg, my Gnargali is my go to for most of my western hunts. It’s perfectly sized for a week of elk or spring bear. Open concept with simplicity in mind. Xpac material kept everything dry in a downpour on the Alaskan coast this spring and packed out a huge boar in Wyoming this June. Side pockets and straps easily secure any rifle or can be carried in the center position pocket.

    Second Kifaru bag

I picked up a Gnargali as a second pack for when my Hoodlum is just too much for the trip. I used the Gnargali on a 5 day Colorado archery hunt and was very pleased. We had a couple days of rain, the X-pac worked great to keep my gear dry. My only regret is I miss the zippers my Hoodlum has. I knew this when I bought the bag, I just didn't realize how often I would rather zip and unzip to grab something quick, leaving my bag mostly compressed, rather than having to access the bag only from the top every time. The volume, fit, stitching, and component quality are all top notch and everything I have come to expect from all my Kifaru gear. Thanks for another great product!

We really appreciate the detailed feedback! Glad to hear the Gnargali performed well on your Colorado hunt and that the X-Pac kept your gear dry through the rain. Totally understand missing the convenience of zippers, and we’ll keep that input in mind. It’s awesome knowing the fit, volume, and build quality are hitting the mark for you, and we’re grateful you’ve trusted us with more than one Kifaru pack. Thanks for running our gear out in the field!
