Built For: Hunting Day Pack / Load Hauler

The Stryker XL is purpose-built to carry the gear others leave behind. With 1900 cubic inches in the main bag and an extended sling designed for oversized loads, this pack can haul bait barrels, full-bodied antelope, tree stands, boned-out meat, and more—without throwing your balance or shifting mid-stride.

The sling drops heavy items lower on the frame for better stability in rough terrain, and the main compartment has room for extra layers, optics, and kill kits. Dual 32oz bottle pockets and a bladder-compatible sleeve with twin hose ports keep hydration options flexible.

PALS webbing inside and out allows you to customize your pocket layout. A front zippered pocket with key hook adds fast-access storage, and 8 included K-clip compression straps help cinch your load tight without crushing your gear.

Built from 500d CORDURA® and made to ride clean on your frame, the Stryker XL is your go-to for day hunts that turn into heavy hauls.

    Awesome... Very versatile and durable

Having used other brands of packs I am of the opinion that this pack and frame are simply awesome. Compared to other brands the load in a Kifaru simply feels better. Reconstructive back surgery, two knee surgeries and a replaced shoulder have kept me looking at better packs for mountain hunts. All the webbing makes it extremely customizable and versatile. Add the camp bag and it even better for hunting and/or hiking trips. This is in my opinion the optimal pack for doing a variety of trips. A day pack that's modular and convertible. After using it in northern Idaho in sept. and walking over 60 miles with it. My only regret is not having purchased one sooner.

    Great bag

One of my favorite day hunting bags. Done a few 2 day trips with a camp bag in the sling. Hauled out a 97lb load with this bag the first year I got it. Since then it has hauled multiple animals and many awkward loads. The load sling made carrying animals out a breeze. Have used this for hauling duck decoy bags out miles to the blind. Also used it to walk down to the beach with the family while carrying a lot of what the wife and children deem “necessary”. I am blessed to have multiple bags. But I wouldn’t hesitate to keep just this bag if my goal was to hunt 4-5 days max with a camp bag. This bag is a day hunters dream. Very very versitile.

    Highly Versatile, Highly Recommend

I’ve used this pack for 2+ Years now, everything from Eastern Whitetail, and Turkey, to Western hunts. It’s served every need, and provided unique flexibility in use. My biggest additions, were the Stryker bag, and a Camp Bag for the Clam Shell portion when traveling too and from hunts, and pairing it down to just the XL bag on day hunts, or keeping the Stryker on for multi day hunts, or all day sits. Really the ability of this bag is only capped my your imagination on how to rig it. I’ve got a couple other Kifaru bags that I will use in other situations from time to time, but this bag continues to be my number one go to.

Pack is small but can do it all

I wanted a better pack for archery elk hunting this fall - the Outdoorsman frame was just too large and noisy. I was able to backpack in for 3+ days at a time with this pack and then cinch it down for hunting during the day. Hauled out my share of 3 bulls with this pack and it was a pleasure.... so much that it convinced my hunting buddies to get this pack as well.

Recommendation: sew the velcro loops to the straps so they're not lost so easily.

    The do-all Frame Pack

Don't sleep on the Kifaru Stryker XL if you can only buy one bag. This is the most versatile bag I have ever owned. This bag can do just about anything. From Elk hunting to whitetail hunting to, turkey hunting.

The main compartment has plenty of storage capacity for hunting layers, but I also added a small and medium belt pouch to the outside for quick access items. In the rifle season, I like to add the Blaze-orange Sherman for extra visibility.

The shelf can carry Elk meat, a tree stand, a saddle platform, and, as you can see, a turkey!
