The Kifaru Woobie is designed to replace the USGI poncho liner and are MUCH warmer. They are also great as a sleeping bag liner or ground cloth. Our Apex insulation is continuous filament – so strong that no quilting is needed. Plus, it has a better “feel” and draping capabilities – no quilting, so there are no cold spots. Coupled with our water resistant RhinoSkin Shell, you get immediate warmth and protection. Best yet, the Woobie is very compressible due to the state of the art materials used. Same great stuff we use in our sleeping bags.

Goes everywhere with me
I use this throughout the year. Works great as a summer sleep system and take it with me on cold weather hunts for some extra warmth while sitting. The dog loves it too.

GREAT KIT
GREAT GEAR... want another or 2 for go bags. If only they had MIL/Veteran/public safety discount!!! Must save up for new one. with proper layers and sleep mat and tarp you can love the field life

Worth Every Penny
By far my favorite piece of field gear, and definitely a huge improvement over issued woobies. I was one of the unfortunate souls who was never issued a woobie, so I bought my own surplus one and was slightly disappointed (sorry guys). This thing though, once I had it in my hands I knew it was what I was looking for. Light, warm, and will disappear into a ruck.
It's been a trusty companion for over a year and a half now through multiple field events, backpacking trips, and kept me warm every night of my deployment to Syria. Whether it was in my questionably stained bed, in a truck, or in a guard tower at 0200, this woobie kept me toasty and kept a little morale in reserve. Dudes ask where I got it and I tell them that they'd be shocked at the price, but it's worth it. If you're a soldier who spends a fair amount of time in the field you won't regret getting one of these.
