The Bino harness is an integral piece of kit for the modern hunter. We’ve compiled a list of features that current offerings fall short on:

  • Magnets that are loud and mess with compasses
  • Small pockets with no dimension or limited access
  • The inability to use navigation apps hands free.

Our Bino harness offers one handed operation with an adjustable hood, six pockets (three in the front, one in the back and two small pockets in the lid) and molle on the front and bottom to attach accessories.
Our straps are very minimal 1” Rhodesian style x webbing with three slots to adjust the ride height. This style harness is very thin and rides under a pack harness very well. The Bino harness is also compatible with our Hydro and Steelhead harnesses and comes with slotted buckles if you want to try other 1” webbing harnesses. The Hood can flip out of the way and hook around the bottom.

POCKETS

There are 6 pockets sewn into the Bino harness. Two tweave pockets reinforced with elastic on
either side have a dummy cord tab for your GPS or spot device. The Front pocket is lined with spacer so
you can quickly and quietly stash a call. The front pocket holds most phones and is a great way to grab
some hands-free footage (audio gets disrupted but you can edit in some guitar solos). The back pocket
will hold flat items like tags and maps and keep them out of the way. The two small pockets in the lid
hold small items like mouth calls and chapstick.

ADJUSTABLE BINO BUCKET

in the front pocket you will find two bungies with cordlocks on either side which
will adjust the height of the hood and how hard you need to pull to seat the hood. Depending on which
binos you are running with, you may need to use our Shim kit to raise up the binos so they are easier to
get in and out. There is plastic line sewn into the top edge of the bucket, you may need to train this line
to clear your adjustment turret on your binos. We recommend putting 16 oz butane bottles for camp
stoves or Nalgenes in your harness so it can get the desired bend.

Don't waste your money on other Bino Harnesses

I have tried the FHF, Maruspial, Horn Hunter, and a few cheaper Bino harnesses, and the Kifaru is by far the best. The fit on the bino is snug, so you don't have to worry about your optic falling out, and the flip-forward design is fantastic for whitetail hunting. The one-handed operation makes it quick to open and close the harness, and the added pockets are excellent for securing and storing handheld release, mouth calls, and extra camera batteries.

There is also a ton of adjustability, and it maintains a slim profile, unlike other fully enclosed bino harnesses.

    Best bino harness yet

I was very skeptical at first but after wearing it to an archery shoot and on numerous scouting trips, I have to say it is what I've been looking for and wanted.

I have ran the S4 Lockdown, Badlands, Adak, Alaskan Guide Creations and now Kifarus. My favorite thing about this harness is the straps. Very simple design and the best part, unlimited adjustability. This allows for keeping the harness high and tight to the body. I carry my Glock 10 underneath with their holster and do not miss any other harness that supposedly has some padding. it's obviously not needed after wearing this one.

I will say my binos and range finder did fit tight at first, but I added "stuffing" in it during the week to get those to stretch a little and they did.

I did like the tethering of my binos and Kifarus harness didn't have that but I used the straps from the Alaskan Guide.

I have the deluxe with nav pouch and as stated, Glock 10 underneath, I feel I have plenty of weight riding on the straps and have not noticed any under stress of these straps versus other harnesses.

    Poor design

Poor design. No binocular tethers to protect your binoculars from hitting the ground after an accidental drop. No shoulder pads, and cheap feeling straps. I sent it back immediately. Look into Alaskan guide Creations the best you can get. 100% better or Kuiu as a runner up. Just overall not a top of the line harness!!!

Hey James! Thanks for the review! We are still working on sourcing the tether system for our bino harness. We are having problems finding the materials that meet our standards of being 100% American made. We value your opinion & hope you have a great day!
