The Kifaru Doobie is designed to replace the USGI poncho liner and are MUCH warmer. They are also great as a sleeping bag liner or ground cloth. Our Apex insulation is continuous filament – so strong that no quilting is needed. Plus, it has a better “feel” and draping capabilities – no quilting, so there are no cold spots. Coupled with our water resistant RhinoSkin Shell, you get immediate warmth and protection. Best yet, the Doobie is very compressible due to the state of the art materials used. Same great stuff we use in our sleeping bags.

Great product
In January 2025 I took a trip to Florida. Stayed in my tent during the cold snap. My regular sleeping bag was barley enough to keep me warm. Thankfully I had my doobie with as a backup and for the warmer nights I was there. I went from shivering too nice and warm under my doobie. Absolutely a great peice of kit. Always with me in my go bag.

So Thankful
I have the Doobie and the Woobie Express and they have saved me so many times. I am currently enjoying its warmth and so thankful that I bought and brought it. It packs down small, is lightweight, and just as warm if not warmer than other systems. Warms up so quickly.

Awesome!!
I’ve been using this most of the year including during a deployment. Probably coldest temp so far was around 55° and it was warm and comfortable. I look forward to taking it out to a colder trip and seeing how it does. Lightweight but great!!
