Duplex Tactical Frame
The Duplex Tactical Frame is built around the outstanding comfort of the original Duplex Frame and Suspension. The Duplex Tactical Frame is a flexible contoured internal frame with rigid, composite stays. The stays transfer weight to your hips via a custom fitted cupped and contoured waistbelt. Contoured shoulder straps are designed to stabilize the load on your back without slipping. All weight is carried on your hip platform, where it belongs – not on your shoulders or lower back.
Two frame length options:
24 inch and 22 inch (Taller stays allow more “lifter strap” function for heavy loads, especially if you’re over 6′ tall for a significant improvement in comfort and efficiency factor.)
Duplex Tactical - 24 Inch Stays, Medium Belt, Long Shoulder Straps 4.1lbs

Absolute game changer coming from an eberlestock. I’ve had this frame for over 6 years. I went from being able to pack 90 lbs uncomfortably to packing 130! Honestly nothing “comfortable” about anything over 100 lbs but this pack makes it possible! If you need to pack 90% of your body weight over a mountain on a regular this pack is for you. Best hunting frame on the market!

11 day Stone Sheep hunt with my Duplex Tactical Frame and Ma Deuce bag there were a few things that I wanted to share. I bought the combo for expedition/extended heavy hunts and the waistbelt has worn in enough that the outer canvas material has rolled over to contact my hips causing welts. The other issue is the noise from the frame while hiking; groans and creaking might not seem like a big deal until you are wearing it 10 to 12 hours a day. Other than that the frame was relatively comfortable and achieved the task, I would of rated it 4 or even 5 stars before the waist belt issue but the belt has worn in and become an issue.

I have been running this frame for 5 years now and have put it through the ringer, from Wyoming back country elk hunts to wet rocky conditions of Alaska scouting for Dall Sheep, to thick timbers of Washington hunts. This pack frame has not let me down and has been comfortable as it gets, I have had loads that are 50lbs for 10 days to help packing an elk a day at 80-120lbs loads for 5 days straight. I used it yesterday to strap about 90lbs of traps and gear to set trapline and has packed 4 bulls and one cow elk this year and still just keeps ticking. Everything about this frame is quality and tough. "Gear for Life" statement couldn't be more accurate. In all reviews there has to be some negative and the only downfall I have seen was at the beginning of my season every year I usual have a little bit of a gut and it will push on the waste buckle and unlatch the top part of the buckle but it still stays latched on the bottom. As the season goes on I get skinnier and don't see the issue. Out of 6 other guys that I know that have the same frame and all of them bigger than I, don't have the issue so maybe its a fluke but that's all I can come up with for a downfall. You wont be disappointed in quality and comfort!

For me it’s comfortable and it fits just right that I don’t notice that I’m even wearing it.
•endless configurations to make it carry things the way you want it
•I use it in combination with a Stryker xl for Midwest whitetail hunting packing a tree stand to elk and mule deer hunting western states with the addition of a camp bag, guide lid and Sherman pocket if needed
