Built for everyday urban life and versatile travel needs, the Echo offers minimalist aesthetics and practical adaptability. Crafted from 500D Cordura® and finished with reliable YKK® zippers, it combines sleek style with rugged functionality, easily transitioning between daily commutes, meetings, and quick trips. Its compact and expandable design makes it perfectly suited for both professional environments and casual outings.
The Echo quickly expands by an additional 500 cubic inches (8.19L) through a discreet perimeter zipper, providing extra space whenever needed. Inside, a laptop sleeve with stretch fabric and a 1.5" elastic top securely accommodates laptops up to 11.5”H x 9.5”W, alongside an internal zippered mesh pocket to keep your essentials organized and accessible. Quick-access storage includes a convenient top pocket with a key-hook lanyard and a front stash pocket for immediate access.
Designed with thoughtful travel-friendly features, the Echo includes reinforced side pockets that comfortably hold 32oz water bottles and a vertical luggage pass-through to secure the pack easily on rolling luggage handles. The ergonomic shoulder straps, inspired by our ARK platform, feature premium foam padding for lasting comfort during daily use or extended travel. An optional internal frame sheet is available separately for added structure and support.

I bought this pack cause I'm a pack-aholic, but I sobered up for good once I got the Echo. Initially I was swayed by the design, functional aspects and modularity provided- plus it's made right here in the US by Kirafu. Sold. I take this pack kind of everywhere now and have sold or given away all of the similar packs I had. From business travel anywhere up to ~5d or less, to just getting out in the field for scouting this is my goto. I purchased with the frame and have really benefited from doing so. I can't believe I just have 1 pack now but I'm super happy that this is the one. Quality is phenomenal as well, it's just an exceptionally thought out bag and I'm more than certain I'll have it for many many years to come. Hell yes.

I have been wanting a good sturdy EDC pack and searched for a while. I considered some other brands but settled on this one. I've been using it everyday for a couple weeks now and I have taken it on one hiking trek. 0 wear so far and aside from a bit of dirt looks the same as the day it showed up. Definitely not a long term review yet but I have no doubts this will be around to give to my son. Literally.
Also, I'm not really sure how to explain the fei g it gives me other than "The Fizz." When I grab it it feels good, when I sling it over my shoulder it feels better. Idk what these guys are doing up there but I have a feeling they may have enchanted this pack with voodoo mama juju magic or something.

Best bag ever! This is my third bag from Kifaru and the quality is unmatched in my opinion. I was going to just use this for a gym bag and wound up taking it on trip where I used it for EDC around the city. Has just enough space and pockets for everything I needed. Originally bought a cheap one off amazon and I sent back and got this such a difference in quality! Lesson learned don’t got cheap spend the money and enjoy it!

I loved the original Echo pack. But this one beats it, hands down. I love the new color scheme and layouts for an EDC, definitely feel a lot less like a private on pass at the airport or around town

I am a NYC commuter who during the week takes the train and walks across the city. This pack is awesome. I bought my first Kifaru pack in 2013 and have stayed loyal to the brand because of the quality and the thoughtful design, whilst no longer living out West in Kifaru's natural habitat I'm still proud to rock the gear and this pack is no different.
The pack is much sleeker than I thought and holds my daily laptop and edc gear (including a 3a soft plate) + a sweater with ease. I can also stop and do the evening grocery shop by expanding the bag which is very useful. The internal mesh pocket holds everyday medical gear and trauma gauze ensuring always know where it is and the external sunglasses pouch holds more than you think. My only minor gripe is I wish the dedicated grab loop was a bit bigger but that is hardly enough to deduct any stars.
A note for anyone questioning the water bottle pouches - I don't use a nalgene bottle and it holds my slightly narrower all metal bottle just fine. I also thought I would miss the full clamshell design I've had on EDC packs in the past but the truth is for day to day and not travel packing it is plenty fine.
I won't be packing any animals out or scouting ridgelines with this pack but for the city life that some of us have to live this pack is fantastic
