The Reckoning features some of the best designs from the Timberline, EMRII, and Argali. Changes and improvements were made and incorporated into this pack after rigorous field tests in the hunting and tactical realms. Multiple compression straps along the side and front of the pack work independently, allowing access to the center zip of the main bag without losing compression on the sides of the bag. This feature also allows the addition of a belt pouch to carry a rifle, bow, or spotting scope on the front of the pack. Two bellowed side pockets add to the volume and easily carry spotting scopes and tripods. A built-in meat shelf and water bladder sleeve inside the pack further enhance the Reckoning’s versatility. The Reckoning has a built-in roll-top lid with tab loops for the addition of a belt pouch to save ounces should you want to run “light” in the field. A Guide lid (sold separately) is needed to fully extend the main bag for maximum volume.

This bag is incredible! easily access from almost any point, will survive the apocalypses (if kept away from flames) durability, i used it to carry 60lbs with no issues at all, extra water for ageing pups, firewood for camp, and 5 nights in the eagle cap wilderness. You won't find any better setup! ANYWHERE!

The Reckoning is what I grab every single time for multiple days in the backcountry, this pack is my workhorse. I have packed multiple elk out of the wilderness areas in this pack! I really enjoy the center zip when it comes to getting to my gear. I haul boned out quarters inside this pack and there's still plenty of room for my gear in pull-outs.
Ive been able to do 5-7 days comfortably living out of this bag without really feeling like I needed more room. Obviously that is subject to each individuals needs/wants when going on a multi-day pack trip.
Overall this has been my main pack since 2017 and I have yet to find something I didn't like with the Reckoning! must have in my opinion.
