An extremely loud soft shell. They make noise similar to most rain layers which makes sense I guess as they are advertised as being water proof. I had VERY high hopes for these pants. I do not feel the noise while on the hunt is worth it. I do not expect soft shell to be silent but these are made of some of the loudest material I have owned! I may keep these for hiking or outdoor work days but I cant imagine hunting in these unless there is a TON of weather noise in the woods.
Other than the noise issue these pants seem phenomenal.
KKIFARU5 days agoLong term durability, warmth, and weather blocking will increase noise, no doubt about it. This is meant for the late season, crunching through snow, and long-range rifle hunting, where noise should be of minimal interference.
If noise is your primary concern, we suggest layering base layer bottoms under the Passbreaker Pant for more late season activities.

Blown away by how comfortable and durable these pants are. I did a bunch of late season hunting in them - they block the elements incredibly well and are my new favorite cold weather pant. 100% recommend
