Based on the Kutthroat Suspension, the 357 Mag picks up where the other Magnum packs left off but at a lighter weight. Staying true to the 44 Mag’s lineage in a more compact form, the 357 Mag has two side pockets, top and panel access, and multiple zippered pockets. Pals webbing on the front panel and inside of the back panel will make attaching other items like belt pouches or radio mounts easy to do. The inside has two tabs for K clip straps to secure loads like radios or meat to the back panel. The Kutthroat suspension is sized to hold 24” composite stays and has 3 load lifter attachment points. Designed to work with our Duplex Long and Short Shoulder straps and Waistbelts. You can also switch the Duplex belt for our Omni belts or no belt at all (two three bar compression straps included in Chamber pocket for shoulder strap connectors for running with Omni belt or no belt). The side pockets and bottom panel zippers have the lock out tabs to keep them from opening or for routing water bladder hoses through (side pockets have bladder hangers). Two heights of Sherman Pocket attachment points help adjust the height of your firearm storage. Perfect for day hunters with optics and can handle loads comfortably up to 80lbs.

Perfect overnight pack
This is the perfect pack for a hunter who wants the simplicity/light weight of an internal frame but the durability and capability to haul some meat. I use the pack for 1-2 day hunts. I prefer the frameless pack because I feel that it moves with my body better and hauls a days worth of gear more comfortably than a stiff frame. It can easily carry a deboned deer or a single elk quarter if necessary and with a little creativity you can get 2 days worth of gear and do an overnight hunt. It’s becoming my go to pack for short hunts. In my photo I have 2 days worth of gear and half a deboned deer.

Seriously well designed pack
The Kifaru 357 internal frame pack has to be one of the best packs in this size range. The pocket layout deserves to be mentioned, it has enough well thought pockets, and yet it retains large unobstructed main compartment and roomy side pockets. There seems to be place for everything you need in the field. As a bonus one can still attach pouches or beavertail to enhance capacity and function if needed.
The adjustable suspension system works well, but it is adviced for the user to use some time to tweak it in, using real life weight inside the pack.
Hunting pack, fishing pack, sniper pack, real 3 day military pack, the 357 mag will deliver.
Great, well thought and well made product.

Excellent NRL Hunter Pack
Excellent pack for NRL Hunter. Especially if you carry a spare bino, bipod, and tripod. I want to thank Aaron for answering many of my questions for years, that and the quality of Kifaru products makes me feel a sense of loyalty to Kifaru. Thanks Aaron!!!

Heading out for my Havasupai trip after a 3 year wait.... This pack has lived rent free in my head since the day I saw it. My first Kifaru pack. Stuffed it to the brim and wore it around. Hands down best waist belt I've ever felt. Shoulder straps nice and fluid and not stiff and uncomfortable. Like a glove. Plenty of room for my needs. So happy with this product so far. I'll write a second review once I drench it in sweat after this trip!

Superior Quality
I bought another brands pack around the same price and felt underwhelmed by its adjustability. I returned it and got my Kifaru 357. The Kifaru is amazing. Top not quality. Tough stitching. Lightweight. Adjustable in almost everyway imaginable (especially amazing as an internal frame. Pack can condense super small when empty and most important... MADE IN THE USA!
