Amazing pack and super comfortable! Will not need another unless I go for more than 3-4 days hiking/hunting. I will not buy from another company again, the attention to detail is better than any others.

I purchased this pack in May of 2007 when I was 2 weeks into my first deployment with the Army. I used it as an assault pack since my issued one fell apart quickly. It carried a lot of weight as I was a saw-gunner for the first half of the deployment and then a rifleman. This pack is incredibly tough and rugged. It rode on my back through that 15 month deployment to the Korengal Valley of Afghanistan and then through another 12 month deployment all over Afghanistan again. I’ve used it for everything from when I was a civilian contractor in Kabul to a week long Outward Bound Veteran whitewater rafting/camping trip and as a regular EDC bag on trips to Disney with the fam. I have had zero issues with the X-ray. It is by far the most durable and dependable pack I have ever owned. The quality, durability and reliability match the price and makes it well worth the purchase. I wouldn’t be surprised if I am able to hand this bag down to my kids when they are of the age to where they need it. Well done Kifaru!

I’ve used this pack for 3 years, through working as a game warden and with an overseas deployment with the Army. I threw side pouches and waist belt on it. It has held up while Arcteryx and Mystery Ranch bags my co-workers spent good money on fell apart. The nifty gadgets on those other higher priced bags, although incredibly well built, comes at a cost (lower life expectancy). This bag has carried over 100 lbs of ammo and gear over hundreds of miles, it has fallen off trucks and buildings. And although it shows it’s wear, it has 10+ more years in it.
