Lost Park Parka - Half Zip

This has been my favorite winter staple since I first purchased it a couple years ago. I have used it for hunting mule and whitetail deer in high winds and ice cold temps while it was spitting snow and sleet. In combo with a merino wool base layer shirt and a military fleece mid-layer I have always stayed plenty warm. Most of the time I simply wear it with a t-shirt because it’s so warm.

The quality is impeccable and the function is amazing. The reinforced areas are just where they need to be and the sewn in drop pouch inside is very handy for a phone or other small items. I honestly wouldn’t change one single thing about this parka and I hope Kifaru never does. If I lost this one I would buy another without hesitation.

A few years back I decided to go minimalist on my clothing and started selling off most of my stuff and slowly buying only high quality items. I now own clothes from Fjallraven, smart wool, etc. While I really enjoy all of them, there is just something special about this coat that gives me the fizz. (Darn Tough socks are also at the top of the list)

I disagree with the guy that said it isn’t stylish. I not only wear this hunting, I also wear it out for lunch and around town. I have received numerous compliments, not only from other men, but women as well. It’s easy for people to tell that it is high quality and that naturally sparks interest. Excellent job Kifaru, I’m now eyeing the pants in Ranger green.
