2.50% of all apparel sales will go to support military and Gold Star families

We believe that where and how you build something matters. That's a big reason we are committed to American manufacturing, and we want every aspect of Kifaru to benefit our Country. Beyond intentionally creating gear here in the USA, we’re proud to also offer gear that benefits the families who are paying the price for our Freedom.

Our goal with this program is simple: identify Gold Star or military families we can support, understand their needs, and partner them directly to solve those needs.

It matters to us that this money doesn't disappear into a giant foundation or layers of administration. Through the process, we want to share the good that these funds are doing.

Jason Workman

Jason Workman and his mother, Betty, are the inspiration behind this program. When he was six, he moved to the same hometown of Blanding, UT, as our owner, Chad Shumway, and three more Kifaru teammates. They knew Jason through their time in school, and have kept up with Betty through the years in Blanding.

We believe Jason represents the best of us. He was the pinnacle of a selfless American Patriot, leaving a legacy we wish to honor and emulate to the best of our abilities.

If there's a Gold Star family or deserving military family in your town, your church, your neighborhood, or among your friends, we would invite you to nominate them to be one of the recipients of the Kifaru Hero Fund. Our team will review every nomination, work directly with the families, learn where support can do the most good, and, with their permission, share their stories.

Freedom is never inherited by accident; every generation must choose to preserve it. Our freedom has a cost, and while we can never fully repay it, we can do something about the families who are still feeling the weight of that sacrifice
